The paint--AFTER
A new coat of paint on the walls is like getting a haircut or new glasses---an easy way to make everything feel fresh and new. (Ok, easy only if someone else does the painting. I'm having a hell of a time getting everything put back in order.)
It looks great, Carrie! I don't think I ever would have thought of choosing that color, but it's absolutely perfect with all of the browns that you already had.
Our house is also too brown - a light brown - but we're not going to change anything until we're ready to remodel the kitchen. Hopefully that will come at some point in 2012, but we'll have to see....
