I wish I could say things as well as you, but I am thankful that you say them so I can then realize what I want to say! I have also been wanting to say that if the religious arguments against gay marriage were upheld by the law, then marriage between and with atheists would also be under scrutiny. If someone were to try to argue that point, I am proud to have an example of a loving, mutually respectful marriage that shatters that notion.
